| Dive Courses
(Air/EANx Custom Table Decompression Diving to 55 msw)
This course provides training and experience in the proper techniques, equipment requirements, and hazards of deep air diving required to competently utilise air for dives up to 55 msw that require staged decompression, utilising nitrox mixtures and/or oxygen during decompression.
STUDENT PRE-REQUISITES
Minimum age of 18, minimum of 100 logged dives (25 must be deeper than 30 msw & certification as a TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver and TDI Decompression Procedures Diver (or equivalents).
QUALIFICATIONS OF GRADUATES
Upon successful completion of this course, graduates are qualified to enroll in:
1. TDI Entry Level Trimix Diver Course (Helium diving to 60 msw)
2. TDI Advanced Trimix Diver Course (Helium diving to 90 msw)
REQUIRED COURSE MINIMUMS
Classroom / Briefing Hours - 8
Openwater Dives - 6 with a minimum accumulated bottom time of 100 minutes. All dives must be deeper than 30 msw with four dives deeper than 40 msw. (2 dives may be credited from previous training)
REQUIRED SUBJECT AREAS
History of Deep Air Diving, Physics, Physiology, Decompression Options, Equipment Considerations, Dive Tables & Computer generated tables, Dive planning and Diving Procedures.
COURSE INCLUDES
TDI Extended Range Diver Manual, TDI Certificate & C-Card, 4-6 dives using Nitrox for Decompression, provision of Nitrox & Air fills, use of custom computer tables and all paperwork.
